Aspen Spora is one of the biggest names in freeskiing right now, and that could be due to the fact that is is not very big at all. The young skier has amassed a huge following over the past couple of seasons that includes a major sponsor list and the attention of organizations like The X Games, Dew Tour and countless other big contests. He can spin and flip with the best of them and this is probably a result of the countless hours he spends on the trampolines and foam pits of Camp Woodward, and the slopes of Tahoe in California.
Over the course of the last 12 months Aspen has been "stacking footy" in an effort to say thanks to all his sponsors and the people who support him every day. One of the major forces behind his progression has been Oakley Eyewear which allows him to see clearly as he puts his body in all kinds of different positions throughout the day, with the end goal of hopefully landing on his Armada Skis with the right side down.
The video seen here is a collection of footage from the entire season and features some unique musical style, and even has a shoutout to his favorite sunglass and goggle brand tucked nicely inside the first minute. More importantly than the lyrics in the song, is the clear presence of progression in the sport of skiing, and while he may not be ready at this point, it is safe to say that Aspen Spora will be a name uttered during Olympic conversations in years to come.
So check it out and get excited because the 2012/2013 goggle collection is set to drop at Spareparts stores, and on our website in just a few short weeks. This year is looking to be our best ever, and might even feature a new Oakley that can also be seen in this video.
