Moving away from making helmets under the RED name, the company has instead opted to showcase their goggle/helmet compatibility by moving all their neck-up accessories to the Anon name, which has been growing at Spareparts for a few years now, positioning themselves as one of the premiere optics brands in the world of snowboarding.

For the Winter of 2014, which for those of you keeping track is next season, the brand has announced some major shifts as well as a mind-blowing new piece which will be the landmark of the brand dubbed the M2. Following on the success of the M1 which was met this season to incredible acclaim, Burton has gone bigger with a new piece of tech called Wall2Wall which will employ their largest lens designs ever. Also included in the new setup is a plethora of helmet-based tweaks that will allow riders their most comfortable setup to date.

Incorporating BOA technology, which allows for tightening with a crack-like system, you can custom fit your helmet to make sure you have a snug and comfortable fit every single time you ride. Also, in order to eliminate strap slippage and encourage a more efficient streamline feel, they are using what is called Strapstrash which tucks the strap of your Anon goggles right next to your lid, totally doing away with traditional strap hold-down designs.

What this means for the brand is that they now have their entire head and eye protective systems working as one cohesive unit letting shoppers take care of all their needs with a the help of a brand they know and trust, without having to worry whether or not their products will work together.
